Community Development

A key part of our work is supporting communities to improve themselves.
We offer a number of Community Development courses at different levels that equip local people with the knowledge and skill to identify local community needs, and to develop the skills to address those needs. If you want to improve the services and facilities in your area, this is the course for you!

FAI Transition Year Football Course

In conjunction with the Football Association of Ireland and Fingal County Council we support a Transition Year Football Course.

25 TY students are recruited by the FAI for this year-long course that addresses the balance between the demands of sport and education. Participants acquire a range of soccer coaching badges, ITEC Fitness Qualification, Media Skills and Personal Development. The participants use their acquired skills with a range of schools and football clubs across Fingal.

Horticulture

In conjunction with the Educational Training Board, we provide a range of horticultural courses. So if you just want to learn how to grow your own, or you want a career in horticulture, this is the place for you.

We host a number of conversational Irish language courses to teach people, and encourage use of the language.

Personal Development

Our personal development course allows participants to assess their qualities and skills, reflect on their aims in life and set goals to realise their potential.
